Materials

We work with a wide range of epoxy matrix reinforcement materials.

We mainly use CARBON FIBER, E GLASS FIBER, S.

We are equipped to produce parts in SMC also called FORGED CARBON.

We use if necessary ARAMID FIBERS, also in combination with carbon fiber.

For eco-sustainable projects and articles, we use NATURAL FIBERS, such as linen, hemp and other eco-sustainable fibers and materials.

Furthermore, where a particular mechanical resistance is not required, we use fabrics of FIBRA DI CARBONIO RICICLATO, reducing the environmental impact resulting from the production and use of composite materials.

For special projects, we use hybrid fabrics, carbon or colored polyester
We also produce parts that involve the coupling of different sub-layers of composite material, natural and thermoplastic materials.

Hot press molding

Press molding is particularly advantageous, as it allows the production of carbon fiber parts in a relatively short time.
This translates into a high production capacity and a significantly lower industrial cost than the autoclave process The layers of composite material, previously cut into a predetermined shape, are placed in the cavity of the preheated mold. The mold is then closed by applying uniform pressure over the entire surface. The temperature and pressure on the mold are maintained until the composite material cures.

The molded piece can then be extracted and finished.

Autoclave

The autoclave polymerization process is dedicated to the production of parts with high quality and mechanical standards, or where the presence of important or multiple undercuts does not allow press production.

3D Flex Composite - Brevetto CDZ

Strengthened by our know-how, we have developed and patented a special composite material, which has been designed to be both rigid and extremely flexible.
Another important feature is the shape memory of the flexible part, that is, once the forces that cause bending or deformation have been eliminated, it returns to its original shape.
The composite matrix also has a high thermal and abrasion resistance.
The composite material can be reinforced with different types of fiber, from carbon fiber, to aramid fiber, synthetic fibers, natural fibers.
The polymerization process allows the molding of parts with variable thickness, of three-dimensional shape and with undercut.

3D printing

We produce on behalf of third parties and for development and design activities, pieces and details with 3d printing technology.
In fact, we have an FDM technology printer and an SLA technology printer.
